Snehana Karmais done by fat and oils drived from animal and plant. according to nature of fat, Snehana Karma is 4 type

1. Tail (oil prepared by various plant)
2. Grita (Ghee prepared from milk, commonly from cow or buffalo milk)
3. Vasa (Animal Fat)
4. Majja (Bone marrow)

Classification

according to nature of fat it can be divided in to two

1. Animal originated
2. Plant originated
