Procedure of Raktamokshana Karma
In ancient time, Animal skin or Urinary bladder was used for Sirovasti. If you may give Sirovasti by ancient menthod for that purpose you have need animal skin (lather) or urinary bladder. . We are discussing here an innovative method for giving the Sirovasti.
First of all take a rubber tube of a motorcycle. Now divide it into circular flat rubber piece. One piece cut in its radius. It will look like a six inch in breath and about five feet long rubber sheet. This rubber sheet wrapped over circumference of the head of patients. This will create a bowel shape appearance on the head as shown in picture. Lower margin of bowel is pack by "pisty of urad dal" and upper border is clamped by a clip. This sirovasti yantra is ready for "sirovasti". The medicated oil is poured into sirovasti yantra the oil may be kept for half to two hours or as required with out any splintage. Patient may move with this sirovasti yantra.
