In Ayurvedic Text, types of sirovasti is not clearly mention, however, on the base our knowledge of Basti Karma, Sirovastic can be divided in to two.

Ruksha Sirovasti - In Ruksha Sirovasti, decoctions of Ayurvedic Medicine are used.
Snigdha Sirovasti - In Snigdha Sirovasti, Oily preparation of Ayurvedic Medicine are used.

According To use of

Sirodhara - Most Famous method for giving the medicine to head, in this method, the drugs are fall on the head of patient in dribbling method.
Sirovasti - we are discussing below in detail. in this method drug is kept on head by making a bowl like shape on head.
Sirolepa - drugs are use as poultice
Siroabhayanga - drugs are massage on the head
Sirovirechana - drugs are use by nasal route, it is also known as Nasya. it is again several types i.e. Marsha, Pratimarsha, Pradumana, Duma Pana etc.
