Rukshana (Dehydrating)
The methods and substances which is produces Ruksha (rough) Khara (Coarse) and Vishad (non sliminess) in the body is known as Rukshana. The Rukshana Dravyas have Ruksha, Laghu, Khara, Tikshana, Ushna, Sthira, Apichchila and Kathina properties. The Khali, Pindyaka, Takra, Madhu, Katu, Tikta and Kashaya are main dravyas for Rukshana.
