Introduction of Raktamokshana Karma

The Surgery is performed in emergency where other tool fail or
inadequate to get result. There are several parasurgical tools also
used such as Kshara Karma, Agni karma, Makshika Karma, Kshara Sutra
Chikitsa, Raktamokshana karma, Apachi Karma. All the parasurgical tools &
methods are unique and every tool has its own utility. Raktamokshana karma is
one of them.
Raktamokshana karma karma word is composed of three word, rakta - blood,
mokshana - letting out and karma - to do. The word Mokshana has
other literary meaning. The simple menat of Mokshana is get heaven
after death, remove or displacement. In Ayurveda, Raktamokshana karma is used
for removing or displacement of impure blood from disease area or body.
Raktamokshana karma is very important tool of Ayurveda. Raktamokshana karma is not
so simple as in modern medicine blood is removed from the body by
needle. A number of factors need to access before performing
Raktamokshana karma.
