Apachi Karma
Apachi Karma is very interesting tool for treating the metastasis. It is well known that the transport of emboli of cancer cells is metastases one organ to other organ via local invasion, blood stream and lymphatic ducts. Lymphatic ducts drains to micro lymph node later on regional lymph node of inguinal, axillary, cervical, thoracic etc. In case of metastasis of cancer and infective condition of various disease, these lymph node act as barrier and under goes hyperplasic changes and get enlarge. Description of lymph node is not clearly elucidated in Ayurveda. But According to Ayurveda, Position of lymph node very well under stood by Apachi Roga.In Apachi Roga, there is development of Round globular smooth nodular fatty structure at Hanu (Mandubular region) Kaksha (Axilla) Akshaka (Clavicle) BahuSamthi (joints) Manya ( Anterior of neck) Gala (Posterior triangle of neck). These glands produces dull pain. Size of these structure is equal to Amalakasthi (seed of Emlica), egg of fishs etc. and the form a net like structures surrounded them. As all of us know that axilla, clavicle, Joints, neck mandibular area etc are area of lymph nodes where a number of pairs of lymph nodes with there lymphatics are present. these structure have some itching, mild pain, and watery discharge occurs if they rupture.
